Chapter Four: Champaign at work

Thanks God that I had some visitors who didn’t only come for vacation, but also for some manual-labour-adventures. Lea, a co-worker from my past life and very good friend, came to visit. We spent an impeccable time together, combining hard boat-work with fun relaxation activities. Lea was a very good help and didn’t mind sitting together every morning to sort out some to do’s. But we definitely also took our time to make ourselves feel real comfortable, drink some chilled white wine on the deck, have girls-talk and go swimming in the sea. I absolutely enjoyed this quality-time together.

Lea sanded and varnished our cockpit-table:

Removing the last part of Naïma’s past identity (she used to be Gitana). We’ll have to do all those rituals in order to have the good luck on our sides although we renamed our boat 🙂
