My parents have come to visit me. We decided that they would spend one night on the boat, a few nights in a near-by air b’n’b and then discover some of the region like Almeria, Granada and Malaga. We spent some real good family time – missing only my sister who lives in the US for two years.
One of the highlights was definitely the visit of the Alhambra in Granada. In the heat of the summer, the gardens and water-fountains did a good job at keeping us fresh and entertained. Our jaws were dropping when we went to visit the palace, which is the highlight of the Alhambra. It’s an incredibly beautiful building with so much attention to small details – we almost couldn’t get enough of it.
But also my parents didn’t get around doing some boat-work. They helped me varnishing the entrance and putting back together the winches I had serviced (a never ending puzzle).
First, some boat-work was mandatory, like varnishing the entrance:
Then we went to discover the region. Here some impressions from the beautiful Alhambra in Granada:
Thank you so much for your visit!!! I had a great time with you!
